Invitation,Program,Acc.
Dear President, archers and officials,
As Chairman of the Organising Committee and on behalf of the Hungarian Archery Association, I am pleased to invite you to the World Archery Field Championships 2010.
The Competition will take place 13 – 18 July 2010 and will be shot according to the FITA Field Archery rules and regulations.
The event is open to competitors in the three FITA field disciplines, Recurve, Compound and Bare bow, and for athletes of four sex/age categories: Men, Ladies, Junior Boys and Junior Girls.
The Championship will be held over three courses, which are all situated near the official hotel (300m).
All ceremonies are located in Palace of Visegrád.
The qualification and elimination rounds will be held over challenging terrain, providing the opportunity to compete in a beautiful National Park.
The Palace located 5 km from the Hotel Silvanus (http://www.hotelsilvanus.hu/) will host the finals in a spectator and media friendly, medieval environment.
I hope that your experience here will be one of the finest archery memories. Once you have been here I am also sure that you will visit Hungary again.
Please notice the deadlines for entries:
- Starting date for online registration with FORS is 19 January 2010
- End of Preliminary registration: 14 April 2010
